Kimberley Chesney

Founder & President, CPC

For over 30 years, Kimberley Chesney has been a trusted advisor, industry leader, and confidant to successful leaders in the Private and Public sectors. As Founder & President of Prime Management Group Inc., Kimberley and her team have been entrusted by entrepreneurs and senior executives who are interested in successfully growing their businesses. She is often called upon both nationally and internationally for her strategic business advice and counsel including senior leaders within the Not-For-Profit sector to obtain awareness concerning recruitment best practices.

As an avid volunteer, Kimberley has contributed to several local, national, and international Boards including the Recruitment industry, Not-For-Profit, Community and Social Services, and Healthcare.  Kimberley is frequently sought after to speak at industry organizations and conferences to share her industry knowledge. She is also a graduate of Western University and holds a CPC designation.

Colleen Young

Director of Operations & Senior Recruitment Consultant

Colleen Young is a Senior Recruitment Consultant who is an accomplished solutions-oriented professional with strong relationship-building skills.  She brings a proven track record in partnering with the Education, Healthcare, Not-for-Profit and Industrial sectors.  Colleen intentionally decided to direct her career into Search and Recruitment when she established the Kitchener Branch office of Prime Management Group Inc. after a diverse career as a Registered Nurse in various functions and locations.  Colleen’s skill and enthusiasm for creating and implementing effective recruitment strategies using multi-platform techniques have enabled her, along with the PMG team, to target high-impact candidates for their unique and diverse mandates.

Colleen’s journey at PMG has taught her to value continuous learning, adaptability, and authenticity. She believes in bringing her own personality to her work and has found that success comes from listening carefully, being genuine, and expressing gratitude to those she interacts with. Jay has proven her credibility over and over, with 20 years of experience working with Prime Management Group, Inc. Jay understands the ins and outs of the Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing industry and recruiting. As the economy changed, Jay and her contacts shifted to Renewable Energy, in addition to retaining some key clients within the Automotive Parts Industry.

Jay’s commitment to PMG is inspired by her admiration for management’s strong morals and integrity, which have guided her 35-year career. She is passionate about supporting candidates and understands the challenges many face when navigating career transitions. Jay’s empathetic approach allows her to help clients recognize the potential in candidates, ensuring a fair assessment of their skills and fit for roles. Once drafted to the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers, Brian brings his past experience and a great level of enthusiasm, dedication, and teamwork to Prime Management Group Inc. With a proven track record as an experienced recruiter, he joined Prime Management Group Inc. Brian focuses his searches within the Engineering and Hardware Development industry. With his strong work ethic and determination, Brian’s professional manner and background in the industry have served the client and candidate well.

Brian emphasizes the importance of active listening and flexibility in recruitment, skills he’s honed during his time with PMG. Michelle Rawson

Director, HR Consulting/Talent Acquisition

Michelle is a successful Human Resources leader bringing over 20 years of proven business and HR consulting and senior leadership experience to Prime Management Group Inc. Her areas of focus include; Management/Executive Recruitment, Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Change Management and Conflict Resolution.

Michelle has also led several complex and multi-faceted business, leadership and Human Resources based projects over the course of her career within multiple, complex business sectors. Working collaboratively with Executive teams and Board of Directors in the public, not-for-profit, and private sector, including startups, high growth and entrepreneurial businesses, Michelle has developed leadership strategies to drive complex change management initiatives and successfully positioned organizations to achieve their evolving business objectives.

As a result of her well-established expertise, Michelle is often called upon for her strategic business and HR leadership abilities, offering valuable assistance to Management, Executives, and Boards in diverse talent management and HR initiatives. Michelle is a graduate of Western University with an Honours degree and a Human Resource Management Certificate.

Michelle transitioned into recruitment after years of leading teams and consulting in banking, finance, engineering, and technology. She found great satisfaction in guiding high-performing teams and influencing company culture, which motivated her to pursue a more hands-on role in HR. At PMG, Michelle emphasizes the importance of trust and collaboration. She strives to understand each client’s and candidate’s unique goals to deliver personalized, impactful solutions that drive long-term success.

Carrie Broadhead

Executive Recruiter & HR Consultant, CPHR, SHRM-SCP

Carrie brings over 15 years of HR expertise across both the public and private sectors. As a leader in employee and labour relations, she has worked in diverse industries, including tech, aerospace manufacturing & engineering, and industrial operations such as a pulp and papermill, shipyards, ready-mix, recycling, metal fabrication, civil excavation and demolition, heavy-duty mechanical work, industrial marine pile driving, remote quarry and barge services. She has also worked in the public health and public transportation sector, along with the local school district, and provincial government. Most recently, she has served as an HR Leader in multi-family residential development and construction in the greater Victoria area, prior to doing recruitment, consulting and 3rd party investigations in human resources.

Carrie has been an active member of CPHR BC & Yukon since 2008, earning her CPHR designation in 2012 and her SHRM certification in 2019. Additionally, she co-hosts a Community of Practice through the CPHR BC & Yukon, dedicated to HR leaders in the Construction industry.

As Executive Recruitment Coordinator, Katie collaborates with Sr. Consultants on every search project to enhance the candidate and client experience. She also manages internal and external communications to support executive recruitment, consulting, and HR projects.

Passionate about art and community involvement, Katie has volunteered with the St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre and assisted with fundraising efforts. With experience in legal and non-profit sectors, she excels in customer service and administrative support. She is also a Fanshawe College graduate.

Alberta brings a strong customer service background to her role as Executive Recruitment Coordinator at Prime Management Group Inc., combining outstanding attention to detail with a passion for helping others. With over 10 years of experience supporting teams in both customer-facing and administrative positions, Alberta is known for her friendly, approachable manner, attentiveness, and commitment to creating a smooth, positive experience for colleagues and clients alike. Alberta has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and enjoys contributing to an organized, welcoming workplace where everyone can do their best work.

Marketing Manager

Sabina Reis is a University of Waterloo graduate with honours and a certified SAFe Scrum Master. She has over five years of experience working with clients in recruiting, product management, and the cybersecurity and IT sectors. Her work focuses on marketing, copywriting, graphic design, website management, and project management. Sabina is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Outside of work, she loves to travel and draw inspiration from the people and places she encounters.

There are 500 member firms globally and 35 member companies in Canada alone.

Clients pay for one firm’s service but leverage the knowledge of our entire network.

NPAworldwide provides PMG with additional reach,  greater speed in accessing particularly scarce skills, greater capacity as well as local expertise for international recruitment projects. It also positions PMG effectively to conduct national searches.

ACSESS is the national voice of the recruiting, employment and staffing services industry. They advance best practices and ethical standards for the staffing industry through advocacy, government relations, professional development, resources and research.

ACSESS provides industry training and certification, and keeps us current on Canadian industry trends and government legislation.
