Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to support landscape, irrigation, and hardscape construction projects in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working with construction drawings, preparing detailed estimates, meeting clients, and helping close new work.

You will play a key role in reviewing plans, preparing quantity takeoffs, presenting proposals, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced construction environment

Key Responsibilities

• Review scope of work, plans, and specifications
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and material requirements
• Obtain subcontractor pricing and resolve discrepancies
• Complete accurate and timely estimates
• Present proposals and follow up after submission
• Attend client meetings, job walks, and site visits
• Prepare cost evaluations for CEO approval
• Maintain cost data and contribute to team success
• Help close sales on proposed work

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of construction estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of landscape, irrigation, and hardscape construction
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• AutoCAD experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelor Degree in a related field (Landscape Architecture preferred)
• Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe PDF
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 to $80,000
