Our client is hiring a Licensed Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in a modern automotive manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems
  • Maintain PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
  • Support automation and control systems
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety procedures (LOTO)
  • Work closely with maintenance and production teams
  • Complete maintenance documentation (CMMS experience an asset)

Requirements

  • Licensed Industrial Electrician
  • 5+ years in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
  • Experience with VFDs, motors, and automation systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
  • Automotive or stamping/blanking experience is an asset
