Our client is seeking an experienced Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) to support installation, maintenance, and optimization of high-speed manufacturing equipment in a growing, technically sophisticated environment.

Position Overview
The Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems within an automotive steel blanking and stamping operation. The role plays a key part in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, align, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics
- Perform inspections to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve reliability
- Document work orders and maintenance activities through CMMS
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
Qualifications
- Industrial Millwright (433A) License – Ontario (required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing
- Experience with automotive stamping or blanking equipment preferred
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and gear systems
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals
- Welding, machining, and fabrication experience considered an asset
- Exposure to predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermography)
- Basic electrical and PLC troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
- Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
